Today, Aeroflex / Metelics is in the forefront of technology. Under the direction of our research staff, we have developed a very unique process technology which has made it possible for metelics to achieve large production of highest Fco Schottkys and SRDSs which have the lowest transition times available today.

Aeroflex / Metelics is a team of scientists, device physicists and process engineers working together to optimize device performance in the characterization of existing products as well as in the development of next generation diodes. Metelics has the technology and manufacturing resources necessary to deliver to the most demanding prime contractors. We maintain painstaking quality control at each stage of fabrication, assembly and test and delivery to meet stringent MIL-SPEC requirements. Metelics' technical, production and program management personnel work with customers in meeting delivery schedules on time, both for standard and customer specified products.

Our most important priority is the customer. An on-line integrated information system tracks projects and orders through engineering, production and quality control. This closed-loop system provides customers with essential information on current project schedules and status.

Equally important, customers work closely with key company personnel to ensure that all diodes are designed with their performance and quality standards. With our years of experience in developing advanced microwave diodes, Metelics is committed to continuing its technological leadership.

Employees & Facilities:

Our new 20,000 square foot facility in Sunnyvale, CA. was designed to provide the highest quality environment for the manufacturing and testing of state-of-the-art microwave diodes. In addition to our 6,000 square feet of wafer fabrication space, 8,000 + square feet of the facility is set aside for assembly and testing.

Product Lines include:

InGap HBT Amplifiers for cellular, PCS, 2.5/3G, MMDS, WLL and other types of wireless infrastructure applications.

Schottky Diodes for RF and microwave mixers, sampling bridges, limiters, and fast switches.

Pin Diode Chips and Beam Leads for Switch & Attenuator Applications Metelics provides a wide selection of PIN diodes in chip, beam lead and packaged configurations for both RF and microwave requirements.

SRD (Step Recovery Diodes) and Tuning Varactors: Metelics' silicon mesa beam lead step recovery diodes provide low capacitance, very fast transition times, and low inductance along with low parasitic capacitance compared to packaged or chip devices.

Chip Capacitors are devices which have very high Q and small size for use in microwave hybrid circuit applications. Beam lead MIS caps are also available.
